Goddard Enterprises Limited (GEL), is a Barbadian company with a varied business portfolio that encompasses interests in the Caribbean as well as Central and South America.

GEL's subsidiary companies are found in: airline catering, industrial and restaurant catering, meat processing, bakery operations, automobile retail and automotive parts, real estate, the manufacture of aerosols and liquid detergents, investments, rum distilling, general trading, packaging, fish and shrimp processing, property rentals, general insurance, financing as well as shipping agents and stevedoring.

The Group includes both subsidiaries, that are wholly owned or in which GEL has a majority share holding, and associated companies. GEL has not less than a 51% stake in those firms in which it has a majority share, while it holds 20 % to 50% of the associated companies.

The main divisions of business in which GEL is involved are catering, manufacturing, finance as well as import and distribution.

Airline Catering

Goddard Catering Group has a rich history of airline catering dating back to 1954 when the first operation was established in Barbados at the Crane Hotel located seven miles from the Airport. Then in 1967, a dedicated in-flight catering unit was constructed at Grantley Adams International Airport at Barbados.

In 1972, the company established a joint venture with the Marriott Corporation and in 1974, the Company established it's first overseas kitchen in Antigua and has continued to expand ever since.

Caribbean catering units are now in Antigua, Barbados, Bermuda, Bonaire, Cayman Islands, Curacao, Grenada, Jamaica (Montego Bay and Kingston), St. Lucia, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas, Trinidad and Tobago.

Latin American catering units are in Colombia (Bogotแ), El Salvador, Ecuador (Quito & Guayaquil), Guatemala, Paraguay (Asuncion), Uruguay (Montevideo), and Venezuela (Caracas & Isla Margarita).

Airport terminal Catering facilities are located in Barbados, Grenada, St. Maarten; and Montego Bay & Kingston in Jamaica.

Industrial and Event Catering operations which provide services to prisons, hospitals, gas stations, schools, factories, offices, sports and other events, plus oil and drilling platforms are located in Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Ecuador, Guatemala, El Salvador, Paraguay and Uruguay.
